Freps

The Freps (Freshers’ Representatives) are a team of our students dedicated and excited to welcome you into our college!

From the moment you arrive, they will be there to help you settle in and will remain present for the duration of your Freshers’ Week to ensure it goes as smoothly as possible.

They will be organising activities, available for welfare support and around to answer any and all of your questions, so don’t hold back!

N.B.: Freps will be officially on duty from the 18th-29th of September 2023, so while they are still contactable before this period, your questions are best directed to The Executive Committee.

Head Freps (This role is making a reappearance this year after being dormant for some time!)

Joe Roberts

Course: BSc Biological Sciences, MDS Master of Data Science

What I do: As this role is being revived for this year, it’s quite difficult to give an exact summary, however, the premise of it is to use my own experience from previous roles and Freshers’ weeks to help Hannah, Romy, and the rest of the Exec throughout Prep and Freshers’ week. Working with Sophia, we will be leading set-up, making content for social media, and organising a few socials for Frep team building before your arrival!

Ask me about: Biology, The Undie, Panic Masters

Favourite Castle memory: After 3 very varied years, it’s so difficult to boil it down to just a singular memory! That being said, June Ball 2023, getting drenched at Bierfest, and bar socials watching badgers are definitely in contention, as are the many hours spent in the Swan.
