University College Rugby Football Club (UCRFC) is an eminent club welcoming Freshers to the college. We will continue to play in the highest division of college rugby next season. Past club successes include winning the Floodlit Plate in 2019 and consistently reaching the quarter final of the Floodlit Cup. Last season also saw a league victory over Collingwood College and a win over York in College Varsity. Training sessions will take place on Wednesday afternoons with matches usually on Sunday. UCRFC is a strong side, but is looking for players of all experience levels as well as social members. If you’re looking for a good standard of rugby without the excessive commitment of university sport, as well as some extremely memorable socials, Castle rugby is for you.
