Castle Theatre Company (CTC) is part of the wider society of Durham Student Theatre, and we are the oldest theatre company in Durham! We put on an array of plays throughout the year, in venues such as the Assembly Rooms Theatre and historic Norman Chapel. We also host many events including a black tie evening in the Great Hall called Comedy Cabaret; both Durham and guest comedy acts perform sets for students from all colleges! We have just completed our 45th annual Shakespeare tour of the UK with ‘As You Like It’ (biannually, CTC also travels around America!).
