Dominic Tillotson

Hi all, I’m Dominic, and I’m the JCR Chair for 24-25. The JCR Chair is independent of the JCR Exec, an overseeing presence to ensure that our Junior Common Room at Castle remains an inclusive, fair, and productive place that represents the interests of all its members. What does that look like in practice? I work with the two Vice-Chairs Roddie and Liv to ensure that the life of the JCR remains consistent with its values, overseeing Elections and selections of roles, dealing with complaints and issues of professional conduct in roles. I live out, but I’m around college constantly and always happy to answer questions about how the JCR works and getting involved. Outside of reading History, I'm a keen social and sporting member of the Boat Club and big band, and looking to re-establish my currently non-existent commitment to social college running.
