Ele James

Hello, my name is Ele! I'm a third year student here at castle and I am so excited to welcome new faces to our community as this years Outreach Officer and founder of Warm Hearts. I will be managing Outreach and CCA (Castle Community Action) this year, which describes our relationship with the local community, and the charitable initiatives we do to support them. We support local charities, run community days, reach out to local care homes, and we support people experiencing housing insecurities, disadvantaged students, and the environment. Warm Hearts is a new, warm and very pink edition to CCA which I founded to support local NHS hospitals and services. We'll be running lots of wholesome projects and get togethers this year so stay tuned! Outreach and CCA is a fantastic, welcoming, supportive community to be a part of, as it gives you the opportunity to make friends, give back to the local community and obtain voluntary experience which is great to enhance your CV and skills. Favourite Castle Memory: My favourite castle memory was attending the Christmas formal for the first time! It was so lovely to celebrate finishing summatives and our first term at castle all together, with Christmas festivities and a beautifully decorated Great Hall.
