Standing Orders Committee

What does the committee do?

The Standing Orders Committee meet termly with the intention of amending the Standing Orders, only when a change is necessary to increase the functionality of an aspect of the J.C.R.

Amendments can include subtle changes (e.g. descriptions, titles, responsibilities etc.) or even large scale changes such as the addition or removal of roles/committees or a functionality update of current policies within the J.C.R.

How can I get involved?

The committee includes three Standing Orders Committee Representatives, which are voted onto the panel following the first J.C.R. meeting of the academic year. These representatives are regular J.C.R. members who get involved with amendment process of the Standing Orders.
