Welfare Committee

What does the committee do?

The Welfare Committee is made up of the Welfare Officer, the Campaigns Officer, and two Assistant Welfare Officers. The Welfare Committee works alongside the Campaigns Committee in the Welfare Team (co-led by the Welfare Officer and Campaigns Officer) to run welfare events such as tea times, welfare walks, and events with other societies, which run every week throughout term. We also run drop-in sessions, and 1-on-1s, to support students in a confidential, non-judgemental environment and provide an active listening service. We also provide students with free sanitary items and sexual health supplies. On top of this, the Welfare Committee also supports the Campaigns Committee with running and helping deliver campaigns.
